A pianist whose influences include Michel Petruciani, Herbie Hancock, Monty Alexander, George Duke, and McCoy Tyner, Coen works in a wide range of styles - from jazz, fusion, dance, and funk to R&B, rock, and neo-soul.

​However, when he's not touring with the legendary Jan Akkerman and his jazz/funk/soul group, Tristan, Coen likes nothing better than to perform in a more stripped-down piano trio format.
