Hailed as “one of the finest piano players in the world” by Entertainment News and “an accomplished artist with a delicate touch” by JazzTimes magazine, Beegie has 32 recordings to her name, counting all six projects in her box set. “Hearing the instruments in the room with you is quite different from having a recording come into your house that was done in a studio,” Beegie explains. “There’s a special atmosphere created at live performances, and that’s the real thing.”
