World-renowned multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, and founding member of the Grammy-winning collective Snarky Puppy, Bill Laurance takes his eagerly-awaited new album Cables on tour. An entirely solo record centred on Laurance’s unique and beautiful piano playing, Cables consists of eight brand new genre-defying compositions.

The opening set comes from James Heather (signed to Coldcut’s label Ahead of Our Time), one of the new school of ‘post classical’ artists flourishing in the wake of the long, steady but recently accelerated success of figureheads like Max Richter and Nils Frahm, and the wider public’s overdue but now burgeoning relationship with this varied genre.
