Buster Birch's live jazz silent movie project "Buster plays Buster" at this year's London Jazz Festival.

London, September 2012 - "Buster plays Buster", an exciting new multi-media project by respected London jazz drummer Buster Birch, tours a number of venues this autumn, including a concert on Friday 16 November at Chats Palace as part of the 2012 London Jazz Festival. The show incorporates a screening of the classic Buster Keaton silent film "Sherlock Jr" with live jazz accompaniment from the Buster Birch Quartet, featuring Jim Treweek-piano, Pete Ringrose-bass and former Humphrey Lyttelton saxophonist Jo Fooks. The group play jazz standards from the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Harold Arlen, Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter that have been scored and arranged by Buster Birch to sync perfectly with the film screening. ...
