Every April is Jazz Appreciation Month when Philadelphia celebrates its extraordinary jazz heritage!

This year stimulating the current jazz scene is saxophonist, composer, and producer Dahi Divine — the next generation of Philadelphia’s jazz luminaries. Divine’s musical education began with some of Philadelphia’s most distinguished jazz musicians. Now it’s culminating with the completion of his formal studies at the New School of Jazz & Contemporary Music (New York) and the introduction of “The Element”, his debut album. Expect an energetic live performance that showcases his skills on tenor sax and as a composer of soulful, modern jazz arrangements that takes people of all ages on a funky and swingin’ musical voyage....
