The Rosenbach is pleased to present Musician-in-Residence and acclaimed jazz composer-pianist Dave Burrell’s premiere of three original compositions honoring Abraham Lincoln.
Ode to a Prairie Lawyer is the fifth in a series of five concerts that interpret historic Civil War events through contemporary jazz compositions, featuring music and arrangement by Dave Burrell and libretto by poet Monika Larsson, performed by Dave Burrell, piano, and Veronica Chapman-Smith, soprano.
