JazzMain remains Scotland ‘s longest established ‘same personnel’ jazz quartet. Formed in 2003, by tenor saxophonist, Nick Gould, the band is as popular as ever drawing its influences mainly from the. 50s and. 60s ‘Blue Note record label jazz canon. A fabulous band to watch live - performing exceptional arrangements of the known and not so well known tunes that recalls the finest work by Jimmy Heath, Joe Henderson, Benny Golson, Horace Silver, Dexter Gordon and so many more that defined the era.
