Recently back from a successful Jazz Services national tour, vocalist Kate Daniels brings her distinguished trio (Giorgio Serci-guitar, Alec Dankworth - bass, Sarah Harrison - violin) to the newly re-opened Map Studio Cafe, where they will serve up a rip-roaring musical feast of everything from gypsy jazz and hot club to Argentinian tangos via the great American Songbook and Hoagy. Expect more than a concert. Kate has earned a reputation for the intimate and engaging relationship she creates with her audience as, in the style of a storyteller, she shines a light on the songs she sings and the lives and times of the songwriters.
