Roberto Pla, widely regarded as the godfather of Latin music in the UK, brings decades of experience and passion to the helm, drawing on his rich heritage and collaborations with stars like Carlos Santana, Kate Bush, and the Buena Vista Social Club. A dynamic 20-piece ensemble that brings the vibrant spirit of Latin America to life through high-energy jazz and infectious rhythms, the band fuses Afro-Cuban, salsa, mambo, and contemporary jazz into a spectacular live experience.

Renowned for their tight arrangements and dynamic stage presence, Big Band Latino has graced major stages across Europe, including Glastonbury Festival's 'Glasto Latino Stage', the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, and the Barbican Centre in London. Their performances have also been featured at the Brecon Jazz Festival, Expo Festival Lisbon, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
