Olaf Rupp and Rudi Fischerlehner have been performing together as Xenofox since 2014 — according to Freejazzblog:
“… one of the best duos currently exploring the combination of these two instruments in improvised music.”
Recently, the two have joined forces with Marc Schmolling to form a unique electric trio:
– sonically somewhere between science fiction and psychedelia
– rhythmically precise yet elusive
– rarely clearly tonal or atonal” — to quote the TAZ on Schmolling’s overall stylistic approach.
