About
Polish violinist Amalia Umeda began to improvise when she was 19. “I wanted to make my own music. The most inspiring thing for me is creating emotional states. I want to be in a trance when I play.” She won the audience prize at the Seifert competition in 2018. Her quartet was selected to participate in the Footprints Europe programme in 2021.
