The 10th annual Suite Life is a musical tribute to the life and legacy of Kelly Strayhorn Theater namesake Billy Strayhorn. Reared in Homewood, the legendary pianist, arranger and composer made an indelible mark in the world of jazz. For decades, Strayhorn made essential contributions to The Duke Ellington Orchestra, sharing in a rich collaboration and shaping American songwriting and culture. This year's concert will remix and reimagine Strayhorn's classics as we celebrate his continued influence on artists today and strive to ensure that his work inspires generations to come.
