Delaware Water Gap Celebration of the Arts Festival

Since 1978, COTA has grown into a major jazz and cultural event, and is now attended by nearly 4,000 fans annually. The festival was the brainstorm of three local residents, the legendary saxophonist and NEA Jazz Master Composer Phil Woods; Rick Chamberlain, principal trombonist with the New York City Ballet; and the late local innkeeper Ed Joubert.
Directions: From New York & New Jersey: I-80 West through New Jersey. Cross toll bridge into Pennsylvania. Take first exit (#310, Delaware Water Gap) and follow the signs for the Gap. Turn right towards town and follow signs for free festival parking lots.
From Western Pennsylvania and Western New York: I-80 East toward New Jersey. Take last exit in Pennsylvania (#310, Delaware Water Gap) and follow the signs for the Gap. Turn right towards town and follow signs for free festival parking lots.
