With the sand and waves of Fort Lauderdale Beach in the background, the Friday Night Sound Waves Live Music Series returns to the Hub located at Las Olas Boulevard and A1A from March 18th to November 18th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. The series will kick off with the high-energy performance of Blue Martini Fort Lauderdale’s former resident and national touring act, Tom Sartori Band, Friday, March 18th. Other Friday Night Sound Waves highlights include the Broadway to the Beach series featuring The Rocket Man, a full production Elton John tribute show and a tribute to Jazz Appreciation month in April featuring two-time Latin Grammy Award winning musician, Ed Calle. Featuring some of South Florida’s best musical talents performing an eclectic range of genres including jazz, blues, big band swing, indie rock, salsa and classic Americana, the free live music series aims to entertain area locals, global visitors - from the young to the young at heart. Those attending are encouraged to don flip-flops and set up a beach chair in the sand to take in the ocean breezes and spectacular sights and sounds.
