Since 1979 Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick has been the driving force of Incognito, bringing the band into a new space, keeping the band’s music relevant and forward-looking, taking inspiration from the likes of Silk Sonic – finding the balance between tapping into classic funk, soul and jazz, but doing so without losing their own identity.
