Trombonist Jacob Garchick can be found just about anywhere you look. Originally from San Francisco, the composer and arranger has become a vital part of New York’s downtown and Brooklyn jazz scenes. He’s contributed arrangements and transcriptions for the Kronos Quartet, worked with minimalist mastermind Terry Riley, collaborated with experimental composer Laurie Anderson, and performs regularly with saxman Lee Konitz and his nonet.
