About
Bursting onto the world stage in the early 1980s with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Jean, now a UK resident, has performed widely with such greats as Horace Silver, Max Roach, Cedar Walton and McCoy Tyner to name but a few. A tremendous musician and composer, his valuable contribution to the British scene includes collaborations with many young artists and he is also a respected educator.
