Belgium’s most international jazz guitarist, Jeanfrançois Prins was simultaneously based in NYC and Berlin for more than 20 years. He has worked extensively all over the world with such artists as Lee Konitz, Kenny Wheeler, Billy Hart, Ivan Lins, Toots Thielemans, Randy Brecker, Gene Jackson, Eddie Gomez, Judy Niemack, Adam Nussbaum, Jay Anderson, Darmon Meader (NY Voices), Kirk Lightsey, Joe La Barbera, Kenny Werner, Fred Hersch, Kelvin Sholar, etc…
Beside being the solo cellist at the world reknowed opera house of “La Monnaie” in Brussels, and having a busy international chamber music career, Sébastien improvises on the cello in several styles of the jazz idiom.
Vincent Bruyninckx is a rising star in the Belgian jazz world. He has been working with all the top players of the scene there and is often involved with world music and pop projects, both as an acoustic pianist and as a keyboard player.
