Lunchtime Special: Godalming Community Gospel Choir Directed By Hermione Thomas at 606 Club

GCGC (Godalming Community Gospel Choir) is a 100-strong choir based in Surrey, directed by former 606 Gospel Group regular Hermione Thomas. The choir were one of just six finalists in the BBC 2015 Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year competition, and have won many local accolades. Their style is a mix of contemporary and traditional UK and US gospel. Sadly, much as we would like, the stage at the 606 is not able to accommodate all 100 so today we will be featuring, from that larger group, a smaller group of singers who perform regularly at monthly gospel brunches.
