Poco Loco: Poco Loco is a Barnes-based quintet that takes its cue from the heyday of hard-bop and soul jazz of the late 50s/early 60s. The line-up is the classic trumpet/tenor sax frontline plus rhythm first popularised by Horace Silver and Art Blakey. The emphasis is on crowd-pleasing, foot-tapping grooves across an eclectic mix of re-arranged standards and lesser-known gems from the period.
