Nimrod Speaks at 2nd Floor Sounds at Reuben's Marc

Born in Philadelphia, Pa, Nimrod is the premier bassist of his generation. This young man is one of the most sought after musicians in the area. He holds a B.A in Music Education from Kutztown University and a Masters in Jazz Studies from Rutgers University. This has given him opportunities to play with many of the best artist of today. The list includes but not limited too Boostie Barnes, Ronnie Burrage, Doc Gibbs, Nazir Dickerson & Hannible Lokumbe. Nimrod has graced the stage of many premier jazz venues such as the Blue Note in NYC and the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. On this gig with Nimrod will be the great Adam Faulk on keys and one of the baddest young drummers around, Wayne Smith. Also, from New York we are blessed to have the very beautiful and talented vocalist Shenel Johns. Here is a recent performance that Nimrod did for Jazz Bridge.
