"Miles or the Pendulum Clock from Montreux" is a tribute to the jazz genius Miles Davis, to a man who suffered from loneliness and prejudice. It tells of the beauty of Juliette Gréco, of Swiss clocks, of favorite chords and of the loss of a loved one. The story not only sheds new light on a great musician, it also opens one's heart. The musical motif is "Sketches of Spain" from the perspective of a junk dealer who experiences the concert backstage. At the center is the friendship between the simple little man and the great musical genius.
