He co-wrote the multi-platinum “Wayne’s World,” spent six years touring globally with Roger Waters’ The Wall Live, and was a key member of Hall & Oates. His collaborators range from Jagger, Bowie, and Tracy Chapman to Buddy Guy and Clapton. Smith hosts Portraits at Guild Hall, featuring artists from Yola and Paula Cole to the Avett Brothers, and has created programs for Smithsonian, NPR, the Rock Hall, and Kennedy Center Honors.Larry Campbell, a three‑time Grammy‑winning producer and acclaimed multi‑instrumentalist, was born and raised in New York City and spent eight years as music director for the Levon Helm Band. A master of guitar, mandolin, pedal steel, fiddle, and more, he earned the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Instrumentalist and was named Instrumentalist of the Year in 2013. From 1997–2004 he was a key member of Bob Dylan’s band, and he and his wife Teresa Williams frequently perform with Phil Lesh & Friends, Hot Tuna, and Little Feat, as well as as a duo. Campbell has produced numerous albums and recorded with artists including Paul Simon, Sheryl Crow, Rosanne Cash, Emmylou Harris, B.B. King, and many others.Jim Weider is known for his rock‑ and blues‑driven signature sound and is one of the few guitarists endorsed by Fender. A Woodstock, NY native, he earned major acclaim as lead guitarist for Rock & Roll Hall of Famers The Band (1985–2000), touring globally with Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, and Rick Danko and appearing on numerous albums, films, and broadcasts. Highlights include The Berlin Wall concert with Ronnie Hawkins, The Bob Dylan Tribute at MSG, Woodstock ’94, and President Clinton’s Inaugural “Blue Jean Bash.” His versatile playing has paired him with Keith Richards, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Mavis Staples, Hot Tuna, Bob Weir, and more.
