Hypnote Records

The independent label Hypnote Records was created in 2016 by double bassist Giuseppe Millaci and sound engineer Jonas Verrijdt to fill a shortage of jazz labels in Wallonia and Brussels.

Its main activity is music production. Openness, introspection, taste for creation and refinement, combined with the talent, dynamism and very personal worlds of each artist define the identity of the label.

Its policy is to follow and help artists to develop and allow them to maintain artistic control over their works.

In 2017, Hypnote Records became a member of SIMIM, a management company for the rights of music producers.

In September of the same year, the label launched its catalog with 3 new albums and produced artists from the Belgian and international jazz scene with the help of crowdfunding. Since 2018, the label has been a recognized operator of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

Today, the Hypnote Records catalog is distributed worldwide by one of the largest independent physical distributors in the United States “Alliance Entertainment” and distributed in France by Inouïe Distribution.
