The past four and a half years in Cologne were very intense: starting studying during Covid in a new city with no deep friendships, immersing myself in music and the Cologne scene, dealing with a lot of self-doubt and thinking about quitting (multiple times), going to therapy (4x) and realizing that there is a lot of broken childhood-stuff that needs repairing, falling in love, cutting off contact with both of my parents (ouch!), missing my best friends in Leipzig, making new friends, writing music, trying out stuff, doing more therapy, hitting rock bottom, quitting alcohol, quitting smoking, getting up, going to a psychiatric hospital for an outpatient program, teaching, getting taught, taking up smoking again, hating music, loving music, cursing music, hitting bottom again, cursing the piano (that stupid fancy box), getting up again and the list goes on and on and on…....

My time doing my bachelors at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln was an emotional rollercoaster ride and as a 19 year old moving to this city I was not at all prepared what is going to happen to me during the past four and a half years.
During my time here I was able to write a good amount of music, that I want to present with a bigger ensemble. Highly structured, abstract, collage-like pieces are going to be performed, that are based on past material I conceived during my time here.
