And so Pabst’s new compositions celebrate a very personal Rhythm Riot: a rhythmic protest that consciously sees music and creativity as a powerful antithesis to the dark and destructive tendencies of our society. He is supported in this by his two long-time companions and veterans of the European jazz scene. JazzEcho award winner André Nendza on double bass and Erik Kooger, one of the most sought-after drummers in the Netherlands, complete the perfectly coordinated trio.

The international press describes the music of the Christian Pabst Trio as “a surrender to the beauty of music” (All About Jazz, USA).
