„Through the saxophonist Paul Desmond, I discovered the music of jazz at a young age. His sound and melodies burned into my musical soul and grew into something new. His music and works serve as inspirations for new compositions for me, resulting in DEMOND’s DEEP TIME program. In this way, I transform DEMOND’s music into a contemporary musical language and bring to sound what is important to me about him. For this, in addition to my trio DIE FICHTEN with Stefan Schönegg and Dominik Mahnig, I was able to enlist my colleague and companion Christian Lorenzen on synthesizers.“
