In addition to his piano playing, Valentin Gerhardus brings a further, almost mystical level to the music through live electronics, which lends the pieces even more complexity. Wanja Slavin and Uli Kempendorff also complement each other as a highly virtuosic front group, lending each melody a sense of depth and warmth. Leif Berger’s transparent, highly sensitive but energetic playing style brings the entire band into a symbiosis and navigates through every passage, no matter how complex.
