Dilas‘ stage presence and her music, which touches on her roots, invite her listeners to engage in a “foreign” conversation with their own world.

After studying jazz in Istanbul, Dila Yavuz continued her academic career in Cologne. She is now completing her master’s degree in jazz singing at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. For her final concert, Dila combines the nuances she has found in jazz with Turkish lyrics and materials with which she identifies in Turkish music.
