Round Midnight has established itself as a fixture in Cologne‘s vibrant cultural scene, producing offering jazz music. Founded over two decades ago, the band originally began as a purely acoustic guitar duo and quickly evolved into a full fledged ensemble, blending elegant jazz and lounge sounds with hits from the past 40 years. Round Midnight‘s hallmark lies in the combination of exceptional vocals, dynamically pulsating rhythms, and virtuoso solos, which exert a special fascination on listeners, leaving them soaring in memories, longing, and danceable joy of life. In 2024, the seven-member band celebrated its 20th anniversary with two special concerts at the Walzwerktheater in Pulheim and the Hinterhofsalon in Cologne, highlighting their long musical journey together. The recordings were made on June 20 and 21, 2025, at LOFT under the artistic direction of Andreas Orwat. With this newly released LP/CD, Round Midnight makes their debut at the LOFT.
