In 2016, the Simon Nabatov Trio released a CD on Leo Records titled Picking Order, which received positive press coverage.

For tonight’s concert, the trio invites two outstanding musicians from the Cologne music scene – saxophonist Leonhard Huhn (Cologne Jazz Prize 2015) and pianist and electronic musician Philip Zoubek (Cologne Jazz Prize 2008).
New pieces will be written especially for the concert; the hitherto familiar sound world of the band will be expanded, blown up and reassembled.
