Peter Meyer, guitarist and member of the MELT TRIO, was awarded the German Jazz Prize in 2022. “There is hardly another guitarist in Germany who is as versatile and creative as Peter Meyer,” writes the music magazine Sound and Image. JazztheAk describes him as a “master of sound.” With his approach of blending influences from jazz, improvisation, sound art, experimental music, avant-garde pop, electronic, and new music, Peter Meyer has developed his own style, which is among the most important of a new generation of musicians.

Norwegian bassist Dan Peter Sundland has established himself as an outstanding musician and composer on the international scene. He has been nominated for several awards and is part of notable projects such as HOME STRETCH, MONEYFRIENDS, and MEOW, in which he continually explores the boundaries between jazz, experimental music, and improvised sounds—both in solo and group projects.

Max Santner is a versatile drummer and composer who is active in numerous projects such as KEAO, MANKAI, and BEATDENKER’S SINULARIA. He has played at renowned festivals such as the Jazz Fest Berlin and the Moers Festival, has been honored with awards such as the Austrian Joe Zawinul Prize and the BeJazz Transnational Prize, and, as founder of the KIM Collective, is responsible for organizing interdisciplinary concerts and festivals for improvised music.
