Drummer Lisa Wilhelm, who also trained in Stockholm and Lisbon, founded her quartet in 2020 at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart, immediately with the goal of finding a special sound of her own.
Lisa Wilhelm, recently awarded the Soloist Prize of the Young German Jazz Award, has already shared the stage as a member of the Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy with greats such as Theo Croker, Melissa Aldana and Yaron Herman, but her interests are not limited to jazz. She also has a passion for pop music, which occasionally comes through in the beautiful captious melodies of her quartet.
After the quartet was already allowed to record their debut album Potpourri – quoted not stolen in 2021 through the recording projects for young musicians scholarship of 2ndFLOOR e.V.s at LOFT Cologne, they are now playing there live and in front of an audience for the first time!
