Adam Bałdych is a virtuoso of the violin, and composer and improviser, renowned for combining jazz freedom with profound sensitivity. Accompanied by Helge Lien, a master of piano lyricism known for his ability to build musical stories, the duo will meet on stage to create a soundscape in which Scandinavian melancholy and Slavic fervour intertwine.

These two musicians have been collaborating for several years, meeting both in the studio and on festival stages in Poland and Norway. Their joint projects, including recordings with the Helge Lien Trio (the albums Brothers and Bridges released on ACT Music), have been met with critical and popular acclaim, and their music has been described as a unique blend of intimate subtlety and improvisational energy.
