With influences from a variety of genres, Athena Aperta believes in the fluidity of life, music and the self. Aperta is an adjective in Latin with four definitions: cloudless; frank/clear/manifest; open/public/free; or uncovered/exposed/opened.

Athena Aperta used to perform under the name Casey Tufnell and has nearly a decade of experience performing live. Her live shows are wonderful and different each time. With a variety of musicians they play with, as well as allocating space for improvised songs where the audience can get involved. Never failing to wow the audience with her tones, songwriting abilities and humour.
