NINA BECK began playing piano at age 5, and is a seasoned pianist, published songwriter, and performer around L.A. who has absolute pitch. She studied with renowned pianists John Lewis, Modern Jazz Quartet leader, and Terry Trotter, and counts legendary vocalist Ernie Andrews among her many credits.
JOHNNY HATTON’s early love for bass developed in St. Louis’s “sock-hop” scene. After college stints in Kansas City’s Conservatory of Music Orchestra and others, he became that city’s “first call” bassist. Noted credits include Elvis Presley, Liza Minelli, Clark Terry, José Feliciano, Gene Harris, and Brian Setzer, to name a few.
