UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance hosts an evening of music and recollections honoring Barbara Dane's inspiring lifetime of artistry and activism. In celebration of her 90th birthday, Dane will be joined by friends, family and special guest artists.

The legendary singer and social activist will perform songs from her new album, 'Throw It Away…,' featuring renowned jazz pianist Tammy Hall, who joins Dane for this performance. And flying in from Havana for the occasion, Dane’s son, Pablo Menéndez, leader of Cuban band Mezcla, and her grandson, Cuban blues and rock star Osamu, round out the ensemble on guitar, vocals and blues harp....
