Carol Chaikin is a Grammy nominated saxophonist and flutist with two CDs as a leader. Chaikin currently plays in the Johnny Mandel Orchestra and has performed at the Grammy Awards with Alicia Keys, the BET awards with Sheila E, American Idol, and was music director for Instrumental Women at the Anson Ford Theatre for several years.

There is no cover charge and no minimum. El Cid offers an extensive tapas menu and full bar and on Tuesday nights there are $5 tapas and sangria specials.
