Acoustic Asylum is what happens when you take some of LA’s best recording and touring musicians and turn them loose in an organic setting. No electronic tricks, no stylistic limits… just incredible music with a big dose of fun. From swamp funk, to jazz, to klezmer and tango, to quirky original and cover tunes, nothing is off limits. The band is led by award-winning composer and producer Dan Radlauer on accordion. Rounding out the all-star lineup are acclaimed guitarist Carl Verheyen; Mark Hollingsworth gives the band part of its unique sound playing clarinet and baritone sax; Banging the bass is one of the finest recording and touring musicians on the west coast — Dave Marotta; On drums, the highly versatile John Mader with a career spanning from Pat Benetar to the LA run of Hamilton; And on violin, the multifaceted Luis Alberto bringing an international flare to this super group...
