Asmac To Honor Charles Fox And Paul Williams At 2017 Golden Score Awards at Hilton Los Angeles Universal City

On December 3rd, 2017 at the Hilton Los Angeles, located at 555 Universal Hollywood Drive, The American Society of Music Arrangers & Composers will honor legendary composers and lyricists Charles Fox and Paul Williams.

Fox has composed countless well known tunes for television and film. He is also most widely known for his (and Norman Gimbel's) Grammy awarding winning song "Killing Me Softly With His Song", which has been recorded by Roberta Flack and The Fugees.  In addition, he wrote the themes for many television shows, including Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley. Williams is a Grammy, Golden Globe and Academy Award winning composer. He is well known for writing the lyrics to the #1 chart-topping "Evergreen", the love theme from A Star Is Born, starring Barbra Streisand, for which he won a Grammy for Song of the Year and an Academy Award for Best Original Song. His song, "The Rainbow Connection" from the children's classic, The Muppet Movie, has graced the American Film Institute's List of Top Movie Songs of All Time. Williams is currently serving as President and Chairman of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
