Cat Fish and The Hollywood Hound Dogs featuring Johnny Main (of the 44’s) on guitar will play Alvas Showroom, Friday, May 31st as part of the Friday Night Blues series. Cat Fish and the band will open the show playing songs from their new CD release, Rite On, Rite Now. Their music is high-velocity jump boogie with style and panache, complemented by the Texas-shuffle style blues of guitarist Johnny Main. San Pedro-based guitarist Sean Lane will play Delta-style electric blues in the second set backed by Cat Fish and The Hollywood Hound Dogs. Tickets are $15/advance; $20 at the door. This is the third show of a continuing blues series at Alvas; the first two Friday Night Blues shows sold out!
