Corcovado 5th Anniversary Show At Tr!p at Trip

Next Tuesday May 9 at Tr!p- We're celebrating our fifth anniversary at Tr!p.

It's hard to believe that we started playing at Tr!p 5 years ago! The band was started by Nicole Thomas and David Robinson, who met at a workshop at Tamir Hendelman's home in Tarzana, and began collaborating, at first as a duo, and eventually with a full band. Lauri Reimer booked Corcovado in April 2018 for their first gig at Tr!p, and subsequently joined the band as a percussionist and background vocalist.


This month, we will play our most popular tunes, including So Danco Samba/One Note Samba, Girl From Ipanema (Tide recording version), Wave, Ella E Carioca, Mas Que Nada, and many more. We will have some guest musicians as well including Ashley Hartley on drums, Mica Nafshun Bone on violin, Nancy Peterson on saxophone, and more.... ...
