Dr. Dawn's music is an eclectic melange of traditional and contemporary jazz, 70's-style R&B, and world music. Whether using her 3 1/2 octave vocal range or her soulful flute playing, her compositions reflect diverse influences including Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, and Steely Dan. She has performed and/or recorded with a wide array of artists and projects, including Kamasi Washingon's The Epic, respected pianist/composer, Vijay Iyer, and was selected to participate in the prestigious Banff International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music....

Joining Dr. Dawn is a brilliant cast of musical veterans in traditional and contemporary jazz, soul, and progressive music.

Nick Smith - (Lead Keyboard) Also a recording artist who worked with Stanley Clarke.

Marvin "Smitty" Smith (Drums) Worked with a variety of legends including Archie Shepp, Steve Coleman, Sonny Rollins and Carmen Lundy. He was also in the "house" band for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Sekou Bunch - (Bass) Worked with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Roger Daltrey. Trivia: he was also a contestant on the TV show, "Survivor".
