Elliot Deutsch is an award winning arranger and composer. He received first place in the 2012 ASMAC/Bill Conti Big Band Arranging and Composing Competition for his version of “Pure Imagination.” Deutsch was also awarded a 2013 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award for his composition, “50 Piece McChow Down.” Deutsch has written commissions for Bill Watrous, Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Cheryl Bentyne (The Manhattan Transfer), Bobby Rodriguez, Metropolitan Master Choral, and The Noteables (US Air Force).
