Jazz Nights! Free Outdoor Concert Featuring Louie Cruz Beltran at San Gabriel Mission Playhouse

A “charismatic entertainer and master percussionist who has captivated audiences with his dynamic stage presence and wonderful vocals,” Louie has performed at venues including the Hollywood Bowl and Dodger Stadium. He’s shared the stage with greats such as Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, and Natalie Cole. Louie performs regularly at Catalina’s Jazz Club and Vibrato in Los Angeles.

Bring your appetite! Delicious tacos, taquitos, and salsas will be available for purchase by Downtown LA’s Zagat rated Pez Cantina Coastal Mexican Kitchen. For dessert, new Mission District neighbors, Nomad Ice Pops, will be selling their refreshing handcrafted all natural fruit pops.

Parking is free. We provide fold up chairs (first come, first served).You can bring your own chair if you'd like.

Jazz Nights concludes with The Dale Fielder Quartet featuring Dale Fielder on sax with Jane Getz on piano and guest vocalist Rita Edmond on August 10th. All free concerts begin at 6:30pm.
