Los Angeles native Jimetta Rose is a force in the independent music scene, blending jazz, R&B, and hip-hop into a sound rooted in SOUL. A gifted singer, songwriter, and poet, her music is a deeply personal journey of vulnerability and strength. She has collaborated with artists such as Erykah Badu, Sa-Ra Creative Partners, Talib Kweli, Meshell Ndegeocello, Bilal, Zap Mama, and Shuggie Otis, among others. Her albums The Barber's Daughter (independently released) and The Light Bearer (executive produced by Georgia Anne Muldrow) showcase her fearless artistry. In 2019, she co-founded The Voices of Creation, a choir dedicated to healing through music, making waves across the scene. With her latest album, The Gift (executive produced by DJ Houseshoes), and more projects on the way, Jimetta Rose continues to captivate and inspire....
