JMD and the 8 Track Allstars Band is a musical ensemble featuring J.M.D. and a rotating cast of musicians known as the "Allstars." This illustrious group of artists blends hip-hop with the blues. The band features R.A.P. Ferreira and Crow Billiken. Crow Billiken is a musical persona of the artist R.A.P. Ferreira (formerly known as Milo). He is a blues musician and poet, known for his acoustic country blues style and connection to the roots of Black music. Also performing with JMD and his mighty 8 Track Allstars Band is Father Amde (Anthony Hamilton), the last remaining member of the Watts Prophets—the world-renowned, socially conscious griots of the Black community—formed in 1967 in Watts, California, with Otis O’Solomon and Richard Dedeaux...
