Joe Hall's music is best described as "amped up" Cajun, Creole and Zydeco. Joe and the band are known for all genres of Louisiana music, and have a reputation for honoring some of the great Creole musicians of the past. This is dance music , so Alvas is opening up the dance floor so everyone can do the Cajun/Zydeco two-step, waltzes, or just sit back and listen to the traditional "old school" tunes, "amped -up " Creole, and stories about the history of the music, and culture.
