During pianists Jon Mayers 30 years in New York, he was on the scene touring, recording and sitting in with the pantheons of the art form including: Jackie McLean, John Coltrane, Kenny Dorham, Pete La Roca, Tony Scott, Elvin Jones, Max Roach, Jimmy Garrison and Kai Winding.
His latest recording "Nightscape" is his ninth as a leader. His songs have been recorded by Les McCann, Nancy Wilson, Ernie Watts, Jackie Ryan and Barry White.
