Kristina Aglinz is a swanky jazz, funk, and R&B singer/songwriter, and her band
is renowned for their innovative arrangements with original songs and the American jazz
songbook. They have graced various venues and events, including Vibrato Jazz &
Grill, The Baked Potato, Campus Jax, Catalina Jazz, Spaghettini, URBAN Press
Winery, The Verse LA, The Grape Ventura, Pasadena Conservatory of Music, and
Musicians Institute, receiving positive reviews and feedback from both audiences
and critics.
In the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, Aglinz draws inspiration from a city as eclectic as
her musical influences. Acclaimed composer Jorge Calandrelli (6 time Grammy
award winner) hails her as a multifaceted artist, praising not only her outstanding
vocals but also her superb skills as a concert pianist and musician. Trumpet virtuoso
Arturo Sandoval lauds her as an incredible artist with mastery in both singing and
classical piano.
Tony Austin drummer, engineer and producer for the acclaimed Los Angeles based group,
the West Coast Get Down (WCGD), a collaborative group of musicians
born and raised in Los Angeles. Apart, they are some of the most sought after
musicians in the world; together they are uninhibited innovators moving effortlessly
through multiple genres of music. He Produced, Engineered and was the Drummer on
the critically acclaimed WCGD albums: The Epic by Kamasi Washington, a triple CD
named one of Rolling Stoneâs and Pitchforkâs âbest albums of 2015â, with The Epic Tour
selling out arenas worldwide for the past three years; and UPRISING, by vocalist/
upright bassist Miles Mosley, an album that debuted in Jan 2017 at #4 on the Billboard
Contemporary Jazz Chart, #2 on the ITunes Jazz Album charts and featured on Apple
Beats 1 Radio. He also engineered and performed on trombonist Ryan Porterâs âThe
Optimistâ, pianist Cameron Gravesâ âPlanetary Princeâ, and Kamasi Washingtonâs
2017 EP âHarmony of Difference and 2018 release âHeaven and Earthâ. He also
partnered with Kamasi Washington as recording engineer and performer on the Emmy
and Grammy Nominated music score for the Netflix documentary â âBecomingâ, A
chronicle of former first lady Michelle Obamaâs life via her book tour.
Ed Roth piano. You might not be familiar with Ed Rothâs name, but youâve heard his
soulful keyboards, showcasing his signature, melodic style. Roth has recorded and/or
performed with a wide variety of artists across all kinds of genres including Robby
Krieger and John Densmore (the Doors), Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, Annie Lennox, Shelby
Lynne, Sophie B. Hawkins, The Brothers Johnson, The Avett Brothers, Tom Morello,
Mya, Taylor Dayne, Jimmy Barnes, Ronnie Montrose, Keith Emerson, Glenn Hughes
(Deep Purple), the Divas of Disco, and Rob Halford. The keyboardist, arranger,
producer, and musical director has recorded and/or performed with 12 Grammy
winners. As a solo artist, Rothâs albums have garnered two Top 10 iTunes Jazz singles
and a top 10 iTunes Jazz album in Europe. In the USA, his albums have attained a Top
25 iTunes Jazz album, a Top 100 JazzWeek album and a Billboard top 100 jazz song of
the year, âBlueâ (which has been streamed more than 750,000 times). His soundtrack,
video game, and commercial credits include Greyâs Anatomy, Scrubs, Bones,
Community, Red Band Society, Heroes, Guitar Hero, the History Channel, Telemundo,
Honda, Tropicana, and Kenwood. He has also appeared in movies including âHired
Gunâ, about session players, and âNot Black Enoughâ. Ed Roth is the musical director
for a number of charities, including Safety Harbor Kids, the Asian Hall of Fame, and the
Medlock Krieger Annual fundraiser for St Judes.
Jimmy Earl bass â is an acclaimed electric bassist known for his exceptional groove,
versatility, and artistry across multiple genres, including jazz, fusion, rock, and R&B. His
career spans decades, performing with world-class musicians such as Chick Corea,
Robben Ford, and Stanley Clarke. Jimmy is also widely recognized as the house
bassist on âJimmy Kimmel Live!,â where his skillful and dynamic playing anchors the
showâs live band. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, Jimmy continues to be a
sought after session musician and performer, contributing to numerous albums, TV shows, and
film scores.
Kay-Ta Marsuno Osaka (Japan) born guitarist. Kay-Ta has supported/performed
with artists ranging from pop/R&B artists like Grammy Winner Lalah Hathaway, Jenifer
Hudson, Jody Watley, Amerie & Chante Moore; contemporary jazz artists like Jackiem
Joyner, Keiko Matsui, & Michael Lington; to Jazz Fusion artists like Japanese drum
prodigy, Senri Kawaguchi. Along with US artists, he worked/toured with top Japanese
artists like Chikuzen Satoh, Junko Yagami, Marlene. His classical crossover group
âQuattrosoundâ was nominated for a 2013 Latin Grammy Award in the Best New Artist
category. His solo debut album âARRIVALâ won the 2016 15th annual Independent
Music Award in The Best Jazz Instrumental Album category, and itâs single âSynch With
Meâ ranked up to No.22 on Billboard Top Jazz Songs Chart. 2018 his song âSpring in
Lvivâ won USA Songwriting Competition in Instrumental Music category. His latest single
âDistanceâ is scheduled to be released in January, 2024. His current project âKay-Ta
Crypto String Societyâ has performed many shows in US, Austria and Japan and getting
great reviews.
